This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. Nour Daily delivers Hijri-calendar-aware daily Islamic reminders, prayer times, a home-screen widget, and wallpapers. What We Collect
Nour Daily collects only what is necessary to provide the service. This includes:
Your account email address (Nour Daily requires a free account to sync your settings)
Your prayer-time settings — the city or location, calculation method, and madhab you select so daily prayer times can be computed
Your reminder and notification preferences
Your language preference
Prayer times are calculated on your device from the location you choose. Nour Daily does not track your precise GPS location in the background. Reminder and widget preferences are stored on your device and synced to your account so they can be restored across devices.
How We Use It
We use your data solely to operate the app — to deliver your daily ayah, hadith, and du'a reminders, to calculate and display prayer times, to keep your home-screen widget accurate, and to remember your preferences. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Notifications
Daily reminders and prayer notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can enable or disable them at any time from the app's settings or from your device's system settings.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Account passwords are stored as secure hashes and are never stored in plain text. All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses encrypted connections.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to request its deletion at any time. To request access or deletion, contact us at the email below. Account deletion removes all synced settings and preferences from our servers.
